The state has a long border with China, Bhutan in its west, the Indian state of Assam, Nagaland and Myanmar in the south. Arunachal Pradesh is second to none when it comes to having amazing diversity of flora and fauna which charm every tourist who manages to land in the state. There are more than 500 rare species of orchids alone that exist in the state. The mountainous rivers of the state are ideal for rafting and angling tours whereas the undulating terrain of the region provides ample challenges for the adventurously inclined who’ll find plenty of options to indulge themselves in activities such as trekking and hiking. Once known as the hidden land, the climate of the state varies with the altitude at which the place is situated. The southern part of Arunachal Pradesh has hot and humid sub-tropical climate.
