Welcome to Awesome Assam. Our representative will be waiting to greet and assist you at the airport/railway station. Prepare yourself for a memorable road trip of a lifetime. We'll transfer to Tezpur, with an opportunity to enjoy a River Dolphin Tour on the majestic River Brahmaputra along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Take some time to explore the ruins and remnants of Agnigarh. Afterwards,
visit Chitralekha Udyan (Cole Park), where you can indulge in boating. If time allows, we can explore other places of interest. Enjoy an overnight stay in Tezpur.

Embark on an early morning journey to Dirang. Along the way, we will stop at the Orchid Research Centre Tipi, home to approximately 10,000 orchid plants representing various genera and species. Arunachal Pradesh boasts the country's largest range of orchids. As we continue our drive, ensure your cameras are ready to capture the breathtaking waterfalls and scenic vistas. During our journey, we'll also visit Nag Mandir. Upon arrival in Dirang, check in to your hotel. After a satisfying lunch, explore the regional apple nursery, kiwi farm, hot water spring, Sangti Valley, and Dzong Fort. Rest comfortably for the night in Dirang.

Following breakfast, we'll proceed to Tawang. Along the way, we'll stop to visit the War Cemetery. Our journey will continue, leading us to the majestic Sela Pass, situated at an elevation of 4170 meters (13700 feet). Renowned for its high altitude lakes and breathtaking scenery, the pass offers a picturesque vista. Continuing our drive, we'll arrive at the Jaswant Garh War Memorial, a tribute to the valiant Indian
soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat.

Later, we'll visit the enchanting Nuranang Falls, also known as Jang Falls. Upon reaching Tawang, we'll check in to our hotel for an overnight stay, embracing the tranquility of this picturesque destination.

Following breakfast, we'll proceed to visit Tawang Monastery (Namgey Lhatse), Singsor Ani Gompa, and Tawang War Memorial. In the evening, we'll return to our hotel for overnight accommodation in Tawang.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Bum La Pass (Indo-China Border), Sangestar Lake (Madhuri Lake), and Pangateng Tso Lake (P.Tso Lake). Please note that you will need to obtain permits from the DC office at Tawang on your own for the visit to Bum La Pass. Additionally, you will need to hire a local taxi in Tawang on a direct payment basis to cover these places, as our vehicles are not permitted. In the evening, return
to Tawang for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed to Bomdila. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Visit Bomdila Monastery and Bomdila View Point, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan landscapes and snowclad ranges. In the evening, you may explore the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

After enjoying breakfast, you will be transported to either Bhalukpong or Nameri National Park. This location serves as an elephant reserve and offers an ideal environment for various wildlife species, including tigers, leopards, sambars, Asiatic wild dogs (dholes), pygmy hogs, Indian wild bison, clouded leopards, leopard cats, muntjacs, gaurs, wild boars, sloth bears, Himalayan black bears, capped langurs,
and Indian giant squirrels. Nameri National Park is a haven for bird enthusiasts, boasting over 300 species of birds such as the white-winged wood duck, great pied hornbill, wreathed hornbill, rufous-necked hornbill, black stork, ibisbill, blue-bearded bee-eaters, babblers, plovers, and numerous others. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel. Take a nature walk along the Jia Bhoreli (Kameng River) and return
to your hotel. The evening is free for you to relax and unwind. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

In the morning, we have the option to go for River Rafting on the Jia Bhoreli (Kameng River) and/or Jungle Trekking. After breakfast, we will head to Guwahati. Our first stop will be at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, where the rich history and culture of Assam are showcased. Additionally, we can explore the Assam Film Museum to learn about the history of Assamese cinema. A visit to GTAC Tea Lounge is also on
the agenda, where we can savor the finest Assam Tea and purchase some to take home. The lounge offers a variety of teas such as Organic, CTC, Orthodox, Green Tea, White Tea, and even Purple Tea.

Next, we will visit the Mahabahu Brahmaputra River Heritage Center and the newly opened Brahmaputra Riverfront. In the evening, there's an option to enjoy a River Cruise on the Brahmaputra River (payment required directly). We can also explore the local market, known for its Assam Silk, especially the luxurious Golden Muga Silk, as well as Assam Tea, Bamboo, and Cane Products. Afterward, we will check into our
hotel in Guwahati for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we'll check out from the hotel. If time permits, we can embark on a tour of the Kamakhya Temple and other temples in Guwahati, including the Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple, Sukreswar Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple on Peacock Island, which is the smallest inhabited river island in the world. Additionally, we can explore the Assam State Museum, Dighali Pukhuri (Lake), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Planetarium, and the Assam State Emporiums. With cherished memories, we'll proceed to Guwahati airport/railway station for our onward journey.
